Conservative radio host Michael Savage has signed a deal with St. Martin’s Press to write two thriller novels.
Savage’s previous novel, “Abuse of Power,” made The New York Times bestseller list. His books for St. Martin’s are due out in 2014 and 2015.
“My novels mean a great deal to me,” Savage said. “I began life as a poet and short story writer. These Jack Hatfield novels allow me to paint the scenes of life I know best: the San Francisco restaurants, the streets in a certain light, the color of the bay. The excitement I feel I try to express in each novel.”
Savage is the author of 28 books and his radio show, “The Savage Nation,” drew up to 10 million weekly listeners before it left the air in September after a contract dispute.
It will restart live on the Cumulus Media Network on Tuesday.
