Actor Alec Baldwin confirmed in a new interview he plans to continue doing his President Donald Trump impersonation on "Saturday Night Live."
It was not clear if Baldwin would keep playing the president on the weekly show when it returns from summer break in the fall. He told CNN, however, fans will see more of it.
"Probably a little bit of that. There will be a couple celery sticks of that every now and then. Not a whole meal maybe," he said.
"I don't know. I've got a lot of things I want to do this fall that are little things that I'm working on. We'll probably do some Trump. We're gonna fit that in. I think people have enjoyed it."
Baldwin has played Trump on "SNL" during the presidential election last year and after Trump was inaugurated in January. The president has tweeted his distaste for the impersonation, but Baldwin's comedic portrayal has received a warm reception.
