The Trump National Golf Club in Virginia was vandalized over the weekend, with the word "resist" spray-painted on a fairway, Washington's NBC-4 reported.

Police are investigating the damage, which included holes dug on the 13th fairway, spray-paint on parts of the course and chemical believed to be bleach poured on the grass. Besides the "resist" signage, symbols associated with anarchists also appeared to have been spray-painted on parts of the course.

Trump National, which has been visited twice by President Donald Trump in the past two weeks, was also vandalized last November.

Trump visited the course Sunday morning and played a round with Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., and White House budget director Mick Mulvaney. Trump discussed healthcare reform with Paul, an outspoken critic of the failed legislation to repeal and replace Obamacare, and later said talks to repeal Obamacare were still ongoing.

Anybody "who thinks that Repeal & Replace of Obamacare is dead does not know the love and strength" in the Republican Party, Trump assured his 27 million Twitter followers.

The vandalism was reported Saturday morning.
