President-elect Donald Trump took to Twitter Monday morning to slam actress Meryl Streep for her Sunday night speech on the Golden Globe awards broadcast bashing him.
Just hours after dismissing Streep in an interview with The New York Times, where he called her a "Hillary lover," Trump ramped up his response, describing calling her a "Hillary flunky."
While she avoided mentioning Trump by name, Streep's remarks during a speech for winning a lifetime achievement award left no doubt that Trump was her target.
Trump told the Times he was “not surprised” that he had come under attack from “liberal movie people.”
