Many have dismissed the sad episode of Miles Taylor as a "low-level, disgruntled former staffer – a liar and a coward, who chose anonymity over action and leaking over leading," as did White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany in here comments in The Hill. Although we agree with Ms. McEnany, we believe it is far more sinister and coordinated.
Besides outing Taylor for being ineffective and incompetent, and for who and what he is, we also need to be focused on what is most important for the continued safety and security of our nation.
The reality is that there are hundreds if not thousands of Taylors still lerking in the Trump administration. Those who have decided to "defect in place" thus becoming enemies of the people, and turncoats to their oath. These are people who continue to work against the policies of the president — daily.
Taylor left his job to join CNN, many like him have not left and remain an internal danger to the good order and discipline of the necessary work of this administration.
This intentional and covert mutiny and rebellion is the key to what makes Miles Taylor, and those like him, highly effective and dangerous. With his admitted behavior, came the understanding how the "deep state" is as effective as it is through its planned passive-aggressive resistance.
Taylor is the canary in the coal mine — his self-exposure must be a warning of what is to come in the days ahead and a potential second term of a Trump administration.
Where are the other Taylors?
He has said there are more like him. Working as a network, we’re confident they will be doing all they can do on Nov. 4, to disrupt, deny, delay, deceive and otherwise cause havoc in the Trump administration.
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) will be leading that charge, as Hillary Clinton, has already directed that Joe Biden should never concede regardless of the outcome.
The fundamental and intentional discontents, chaos, and failures that have happened over the past four years have indeed happened because of Taylor and his ilk, not because of the president and his policies.
Taylor and his like-minded comrades have an arrogance — they all believe they are smarter than the system that permitted them to become who they are.
This is a version of the "James Comey Syndrome" — refelcted in self-appointed "neo-gods" who because of some opaque, undefinable (and undefendable) concept of righteousness believe that their feelings are more important than their oath of office; that their personal beliefs are more important than protecting the American people.
We have seen this type effort previously, all too often.
The feds took their shot at ending this administration with FBI Director Jim Comey leading the coup attempt with confederates Peter Strzok, Lisa Page and Andy McCabe, when they cleared Hillary Clinton of a possibly factual and possibly provable wrongdoing, and yet created and investigated a completely false narrative which turned out to be the Russian Collusion hoax.
The intelligence community took its shot at ending this administration with CIA officer Eric Ciaramella and Lt. Col. Alex Vindman "whistleblowing" (that was not whistleblowing), that served as the foundation for the failed impeachment of President Trump.
Documents now show that not only was Hunter Biden possibly taking money from Ukraine and Russian sources, he may have been the "bridge" of that money to the entire Biden family, inclusive of Joe Biden.
Clearly, key information that would have corroborated President Trump’s Ukraine concerns, and cleared him in his impeachment, was suppressed, but by whom, and why?
This is dangerous and pervasive.
So — to quote former U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld — there are unknown unknowns and known unknowns — we know for sure that there are people still in the system who were the "stay behinds."
We need to identify them; the time to do so is now.
We face a great deal of uncertainty after this coming Nov. 3.
Those like Taylor are as much a danger to the security of the United States as any foreign spy, and because he and those like him still on the inside, they are arguably even more dangerous.
DHS is not the only bureaucracy with Miles Taylors in them.
They still linger in the halls of the of the Department of Justice (DOJ), the corridors of the Pentagon and in the clouds of the intelligence community.
We've got to seek them out.
Additionally, there are those on the outside, stirring the pot and leading the charge from the shadow; they push their false narratives through artificial intelligence and other means.
We live in a dangerous time where unelected bureaucrats have vast power to abuse their office and authority. This cannot be permitted to continue under any presidency.
One’s oath of office must be that which guides their actions under the Constitution.
There is no room for the Comeys, Ciaramellas , Vindmans, or Taylors.
No room in a republic dependent on professionals to follow lawful orders and support the implementation of policy — which with they they may or may not agree — but are obligated to support.
The common theme is this – their disagreement with politics or policy has resulted in their abuse and misuse of the whistleblowing; they've also engaged in willful neglect of their duties.
This weaponization of the bureaucracy against President Trump is a clear and present danger. We expect to see the passive-aggressive hate in people like Taylor to become a full-on rebellion when the president wins his second term.
It's for this scenario we must prepare.
We have not seen the last of the Miles Taylors.
We must now be more than vigilant for the next wave of far more aggressive dissention.
