Founders Entrusted Power to Our Hands, Not Feds'

our land of we the people not of the government

…that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.

At Gettysburg, Pennsylvania on a cold, dark November, 1863 day; one filled with the lingering smell of blood and gunpowder, President Abraham Lincoln explained to a war weary nation why keeping the union intact was essential.

Simply put, self-governance endures as an American idea but requires staunch defending.

But-do we really still enjoy self-governance?

Ask organic Amish farmer, Amos Miller what he thinks of self-governance after marshals reacting to the dictates of the unelected U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), raided his farm, and levied $300,000 in business-ending fines.

The Miller’s family farm and business of 25 years provides the highest quality food products to a private club of 4000 customers who prefer the risks of non-chemically treated food over the big corporate purveyors under the not-so-watchful eyes of the USDA bureaucrats.

Much to the angst of said USDA bureaucrats.

Where is the due process?

How much money do you think Amos has in savings to retain lawyers to take on the federal leviathan?

Little to none is the correct answer, as it is with all average Americans living their everyday lives, only to be attacked by politicized agencies who eschew our freedoms at the whims of unelected bureaucrats in Washington, D.C.

These Fauci-esque federal bureaucrats are more likely to be in a meeting with lobbyists discussing what Kraft foods legislative expectations are, rather than what is needed to help the Amos Millers of our nation.

In other words, the Amos Millers of America, and their "ilk," are dangers who must be stopped and crushed at any cost; even at the expense of the Constitution.

Is our country now: of, by, and for the government only?

Merriam-Webster defines the word, Antitrust as "consisting of laws to protect trade and commerce from unlawful restraints and monopolies or unfair business practices."

Has the U.S. government violated its own antitrust laws? Do they not place unlawful restraints on the people?

The feds seemingly behave as a mega-monopoly, and one with little accountability.

Are business practices of bureaucrats guided by lobbyists fair? Are we looking through a prism at an antitrust case between We the People and Washington?

Afterall this monopoly just declared war on you, calling for 87,000 agents, a few of them with deadly force capability, to see that your tax revenues are extracted. Isn’t it curious that no one from the GOP expressed their concern with creating an IRS enforcement force larger than the U.S. Marine Corps?

Hold on to your wallets folks, let’s see what happens.

Time to break it up!

Citizens are controlled by more than 450 federal agencies comprised of over 2.1 million unelected bureaucrats. Along with 535 members of the Congress with inviolate bonds to K Street lobbying firms, We the People have little chance to be represented.

This writer would be eager to see a winning argument that this system and size of government are the optimal setup for America’s longevity.

Quite the opposite.

The rollup of our rights as Amos Miller experienced demonstrates that the feds are no longer accountable to us, and even no longer accountable to any watchdogs.

Do We the People matter? Didn’t we fight to be free from the British Crown over far less?

The growing bureaucratic monopoly crushes us.

Worse, like lemmings, we fund our own demise.

But — how do we break up the monopoly?

The political class wants you to buy expensive electric vehicles, eat bugs, and fake meat, relinquish your rights and privacy, pay for their reckless spending and debts of others (think: student loan forgiveness for starters).

Chaos at the southern border is ignored sovereignty surrender to the cartels and Chinese fentanyl peddlers. If they don’t destroy your morale by the heavy tax and regulatory burden, then they’ll kill your kids with illicit drugs.

Is this the country you want? Is this the country veterans have fought and died to defend?

While you are playing by the rules, the Washington swamp monster promotes the fear of everything so you don’t notice that the new vaccines will never get FDA approval, myocarditis and Sudden Adult Death Syndrome are just random, and the new U.S. passports no longer have the page with the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution.

Don't believe me? Please employ your favorite search engine, or order a new one today.

We the People have reached a breaking point, but not the one you think.

It’s not our breaking point, it’s the point where we break up the bureaucratic, political class monopoly post-haste. Return the real power to the people and let self-governance flourish again.

It's time to deploy the Constitution to save the country.

What is our path now? And afterwards?

America’s disdain for the political class grows by the day.

Contempt for K Street and the greedy lobby class exacerbates an already fragile fabric.

Can you think of a better way to slam the nation’s emergency brakes than to have at least 34 states call for an Article V Convention of States? After all, this is the vehicle the Founders gave us to peacefully enact antitrust action against a rogue government.

The emergency button within the Constitution in Article V allows for the states to re-exert their 10th Amendment power and put a stop to this once and for all.

The Founders intended for the power to always remain within the hands of the people.

But will we use it before it’s too late?
