By    |   Tuesday, 27 June 2017 11:04 AM EDT

AARP offers discounts on travel around the country and the world. Travel destinations are so much more enjoyable with savings on hotels, car rentals, restaurants, and entertainment, no matter where you are.

Traveling is made easy just by getting on the AARP website page and choosing your destination through its Travel Center. Members can save on booking flights or cruises online or over the phone. The site also offers top deals each day. Membership for the nonprofit organization is open to anyone age 50 and over for just $16 a year.

If you’re not sure where to go on your next vacation, here are some ideas with the seven most AARP-friendly travel destinations:

1. Kauai, Hawaii — Nicknamed “The Garden Island,” Kauai’s beauty has attracted tourists and filmmakers who take advantage of the island’s sandy beaches, sea cliffs, and coral reefs. Waimea Canyon is considered “the Grand Canyon of the Pacific” at more than 3,500 feet deep.

2. Grand Canyon, Arizona — With an average width of 10 miles and some 277 river miles at a depth of one mile, the Grand Canyon is perhaps the most magnificent sight to see in the world. Hiking trails and tours by rangers are available. Fly over the canyon or enjoy rafting. The impressive glass Skywalk on the West Rim is awesome and inspiring.

3. Branson, Missouri — If it’s entertainment you seek, Branson features live music and comedy events with some of the industry’s top stars. It has become a rival to Nashville for its country music performers. There’re also nice resorts, souvenir and craft shops, miniature golf courses, and other choices for fun.

4. Vancouver, Canada — Hiking, cycling, skiing, kayaking, and sailing are some of the pleasures found in Vancouver, which has a wide range of outdoor activities. Fresh seafood, museums, great shopping ventures, and a wonderful nightlife are available in one of North America’s most exciting cities.
