Dennis Michael Lynch, well-known conservative commentator, is making his intentions clear: he wants to be president in 2016. Here are some personal life facts about the entrepreneur.
1. According to Lynch's campaign website, he was born Aug. 28, 1969, in Hicksville, New York, Lynch shares birthdays with first American Catholic saint Elizabeth Ann Seton as well as singer Shania Twain and actor Jack Black.

2. Lynch's parents divorced when he was 13. His father is a decorated Marine who served in Vietnam. His mother was at one time was a waitress, working long hours to keep the family home. (Lynch's campaign will not release the names of his parents.)
3. Dennis Michael Lynch met his wife Mary in high school in 1984. He attended the John Jay College of criminal justice at City University in New York, but did not graduate.
4. He tried out unsuccessfully at third base for the Montreal Expos and Chicago White Sox.
5. Lynch's faith is Catholic and he's a believer in traditional marriage, although he believes the issue should not be turned over to the federal government to decide. Although Catholic, at one time he was pro-choice. As a filmmaker, he chronicled the 2013 March for Life Rally in Washington D.C., saying, "I spoke to countless women who had an abortion when they were young and lived to regret it." Today Lynch is solidly pro-life.

6. Lynch is the father of four and said that he "could not imagine what life would be like without them."
7. A 2000 article in The New York Times reported that, in 1993, Lynch founded Four Star Enterprises, an auction company based in his mother's home in Hicksville. In a few months he had made $25,000. The New York Times also noted that at age 30, Lynch owned TechMart.com, a company that had $10 million in inventory that year. He had gone from jock to geek.
8. Lynch witnessed personally the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center from the bottom of the Twin Towers. "The event changed the direction of my life," he said.
