Global Warming Deniers, Believers Battle: Twitter War Erupts Over US-China Climate Agreement

The global warming deal reached between the United States and China at a Nov. 12 summit meeting caused an eruption of Twitter posts from climate change deniers and believers.

The agreement between U.S. President Barack Obama and Chinese President Xi Jinping included a focus on decreasing carbon emissions and increasing energy use from renewable and nuclear sources.

But the deal didn’t please everyone, as was quickly apparent on Twitter. Although some people objected based on their feelings about global warming, others thought the deal itself wasn’t good.





Global warming deniers, though, disagreed with the deal for other reasons:
