Those who want to add shooting to their Hawaiian vacation will find several gun range options for pistol, rifle shooting or sporting clays.

Here are six gun ranges in Hawaii:

1. Hawaii Gun Club & Waikiki Gun Club 
Honolulu, Hawaii
This gun range touts its super-safe backstop system made of cut rubber. The indoor range has a 20 meter distance for shooting. Rifles and pistols are available for rental and use at the range. Safety equipment and ammunition are included. 

"The instructors were very knowledgeable and friendly," writes a reviewer on Yelp.

2. Maui Sporting Clays 
Kihei, Hawaii
This facility offers a 5 stand course along with sporting clay stands. They build a package to suit the experience level of the shooter. Packages include ammunition and protective gear. Guns can be included.

"This place was a blast," writes a reviewer on Google. "We went over for just the afternoon and it flew by." 

3. White Shark Arms LLC 
Hilo, Hawaii
White Shark Arms has four lanes at 25 meters. The gun range allows up to "50 caliber BMG." The range only allows .45 during the day to keep the noise down.

"Fun indoor range finally in Hilo. Safe place, knowledgeable and friendly folks. Hours of fun for the whole family," writes a reviewer on Facebook. 

4. Kauai Eco Sporting Clays 
Lihue, Hawaii
This range allows visitors to shoot 12 and 20 gauge shot guns at clay targets. This location offers 5-stand shooting and can accommodate shooters without any experience.

"Brought the whole family! First time shooters and now we all think we're pro's. Awesome instructors, great scenery and left with some great memories," writes a Google reviewer.

5. Koko Head Shooting Complex 
Honolulu, Hawaii
This is the only public gun range on Oahu. The range offers both pistol and rifle shooting alongside trap and skeet, action pistol, cowboy shooting and an archery range.

"Enjoyed shooting here. The range is safe, clean and free!" writes a reviewer on Google.

6. Honolulu Firearms & Range
Honolulu, Hawaii
This gun shop offers an indoor gun range that is open to the public. The shop offers training classes. The range has a variety of guns for use and safety gear for rent.

"Awesome staff, lots of accessories and different types of ammo, good selection of firearms, free targets if you use the range and you can use almost any caliber," writes a reviewer on Yelp.
