By    |   Tuesday, 24 February 2015 11:38 AM EST

New Hampshire ranks 25th in a 2014 list of the best states for gun owners compiled by Guns and Ammo. "New Hampshire is one of the only 'shall-issue' concealed carry states in the Northeast." The state received a good score of 42 out of 50 based on right to carry laws, restrictions on sporting rifles, National Firearms Act rights, Castle Doctrine and a miscellaneous category.

Here are four spots for firearms and pistol practice in the state of New Hampshire:

1. Manchester Firing Line Range, LLC: In addition to being a premier indoor gun range, this facility carries a large selection of new and used firearms for sale as well as pistols, revolvers, rifles, shotguns and machine guns for rent. Instruction ranges from basic gun ownership to State Armed Guard/Private Investigator Certification.

3. Granite State Indoor Range and Gun Shop: Located in Hudson, this facility is billed as the only public gun range in New England where you can shoot for $20.00 per day.
