Oklahoma ranks 6th in a
2014 list of the best states for gun owners compiled by Guns and Ammo. "Oklahoma issues CCL permits for concealed carry and recognizes permits from all issuing states, and its list of prohibited carry locations is short." The state received a score of 46 out of 50 based on right to carry laws, restrictions on sporting rifles, National Firearms Act rights, Castle Doctrine and a miscellaneous category.

H & H Shooting Sports: Located in Oklahoma City, this large gun range has 61 shooting lanes. "6 Olympic air gun lanes, 12 pistol lanes at 25 yards, 24 rifle lanes at 30 yards, 15 lanes for archery at 20 yards and 4 lanes in the Techno-Hunt archery simulator." Firearm instruction and rental is available and the range décor includes animal mounts from around the world.

Tulsa Firearms: This indoor shooting range and pro shop features climate control and a smoke-free environment. Eighteen 50-foot lanes and six 25-yard high power rifle lanes are available. According to TF, their Concealed Carry Class is rated "#1 in Oklahoma for its comprehensive and instructional excellence."
"Love shooting at this range! Staff is always friendly and willing to answer questions. The building is spotless and provides for a family friendly atmosphere. I could go on and on about how great these guys are! Keep up the great work, you guys rock!" writes a reviewer on Google.

Silverleaf Shotgun Sports: Located in Guthrie, this semi-private facility offers sporting clays, skeet, trap, 5-stand and wobble trap shooting opportunities. Golf cart rentals are available and memberships range from individual to corporate.
"This place is amazing! It's a combination of a country club and shooting range. The sporting clays was some of the most fun shooting I've ever done," writes a reviewer on Google.

Happy Hollow Gun Club: Located in Sapulpa, this outdoor gun range offers a 25 to 200 yard rifle range, a 10 and 25 yard pistol range, and a 5-stand sporting clays range with 4 Arial throwers and a rabbit thrower.

United States Shooting Academy: Located in Tulsa, this range states it accommodates "World Class Competition Shooters, Law Enforcement Agencies, Military and Federal Agencies, Private Security" and recreational shooters. The facility offers 60 acres of shooting ranges with covered bench rests, reactive steel targets and an indoor training and combatives building.
"I was not expecting the service I got. Instead, I got more. I will soon be taking my conceal carry class, and possibly other classes there as well. For myself, and probably many others, it's a bit of a drive, but I feel it's worth the time and money to go here," writes a reviewer on Google.

Wilshire Gun: Located in Oklahoma City, this gun range is billed as having the nation's longest indoor ranges at 101 yards long. Target systems are all digital and the lanes are climate controlled to 70 degrees year round. This facility also provides a SimRom with a "plethora of scenarios for training – or just plain fun!"
"Staff was extremely helpful and more than accommodating. Their inventory was epic for just about anything you could need. And the ranges were the nicest indoor ranges I've been to," writes a reviewer on Facebook.
