By    |   Friday, 22 September 2017 01:37 PM EDT

The world of golf will continue to change to improve everyone’s game with high-tech golf tools of the future. Devices are already helping golfers to swing like pros, and it’s only going to get better.

Simulators, apps, and other gadgets allow clear reading of the greens and improved performance. Equipment keeps improving as well with technological advances for golf balls and clubs.

These advancements also make golf play more fun. Here are six high-tech golf tools of the future:

1. Skateboard carts — GolfBoard is already producing motorized skateboard golf carts. Golfers stand on it with one foot in front of the other with the clubs up front. A throttle on handlebars moves it forward and stops it. Boarders go through a course 15-percent faster than walkers and 30-percent faster than twosomes in a golf cart. There are more than 250 courses around the world that have the boards, Golf.com reported.

2. Improved golf apps — Smartphone apps continue to fascinate golfers to improve their game. One of the latest is 18Birdies, which includes an advanced GPS with elevation and weather data. A rangefinder verifies tee markers, landing zones, and hole locations. A digital caddy provides distances and club recommendations.

3. Golf simulators — These devices are getting more and more accurate so golfers can play the best courses throughout the world, according to Wired. The Full Swing Golf simulator has high-speed cameras and infrared light waves to track rotations and spin rates for a more realistic view as the ball travels virtually on the screen.

4. Golf tracking watches — Golf watches are also improving. The X40 golf watch is designed by Garmin, which also provides tracking movements for runners and cyclists. This one offers step counting activity, heart rate, and analysis of some 40,000 courses all over the world. The product also provides layouts of greens and specific holes as well as analysis.

5. Club sensors — Clubs of the future will have built-in sensors that link to smartphones for a better screen image by twisting the phone on its side, ForeGolf reported. The sensors are even getting on the market now, making smart golf clubs a high-tech golf tool of the future to measure and assess shots.

6. High-launching irons — New metals and materials provide advancements for longer and quicker irons. Golfers can hit the ball higher with more control through the wind. It will make it easier to hit long irons at a further distance.
