1. Academy Award for Best Actor
Bogart was nominated for three Academy Awards during his lifetime. He earned his first nomination for Best Actor with his role in 1942's "Casablanca." Bogart won the award on his second nomination for his role in "The African Queen" in 1951. He was nominated a third time for Best Actor for his role in 1954's "The Caine Mutiny."

In addition to his Academy Award recognition, Bogart was nominated for a BAFTA Award in 1952 for Best Foreign Actor for his role in "The African Queen."
2. Hollywood Star and Immortalized in Cement
Bogart joined many other celebrities by leaving his hand and footprints in cement. He did this in a ceremony in front of Grauman's Chinese Theater in 1946. Bogart was given another prominent Hollywood honor a few years after his death. In 1960, Bogart received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His star is located at 6322 Hollywood Boulevard.
3. Postage Stamp
The United States Postal Service honored Bogart in 1997 by releasing a new postage stamp bearing his image. This Bogart stamp was included in the "Legends of Hollywood" series. He was the third person to be recognized in the series. The U.S. Postal Service announced the release of the stamp in a ceremony attended by Bogart's widow, Lauren Bacall, and his children.
4. Street Name
A section of 103rd Street in New York City bears Bogart's name. The city renamed a section of 103rd street — located between Broadway and West End Avenue — Humphrey Bogart Place. Bogart was born in New York City and lived there until enlisting in the Navy during World War I in 1918.
