Here are seven of Robertson's most memorable answers on love, from "The 700 Club:"
1. In addressing his own marriage when asked what making a loving relationship over time, Robertson said, "The first thing is having a sympathetic and understanding (spouse). The second thing is to keep communication open. … You build it in love and understanding, but at the same time, you work at it."
2. When one viewer asked Robertson about finding love through online dating, he suggested instead to "go where the Christians are. … Surely you're a man, and surely there are many Christian women who would just love to meet a fine Christian man who wants to get serious."
3. Robertson addressed one viewer whose husband is addicted to computers, saying that he should be reminded why they married. "What you need to do is to sit down and say, ‘Listen, I love you. I married you. We have a daughter together. You have responsibilities.’"

4. When one viewer asked if he should tell his future wife about everything bad in his past, possibly losing her love, Robertson urged him to live in the present and future instead. "The Lord talks about having your conscience cleansed from dead works that you might serve the living God. The answer is, no, you don't tell all of your sordid past."
5. When addressing a woman's jealousy of her ex-husband's potential new relationship, Robertson suggested that she lean of the love of her faith. "You leave all that in God's hands. … So just let it go and praise God and say, 'Lord, I love you.' Fill your life with the goodness of the Lord."
6. Robertson addressed one partner's hurt feelings because her mate has not told her "I love you" in month, encouraging her to love herself. "Keep on giving and loving and see what happens. You can elicit responses from people if you give the right moment. You are showing it, and I think it will work out."
7. Robertson urged a woman to stay committed to her faith and love regarding her cheating husband. "God can do a miracle and you should be open to the miracle."
