Our planet is made up of 74% water, with the vast majority of it in four oceans. This is where life began and where life sustains, a fragile ecosystem that supports everything from the fish and other aquatic life that inhabit them, to the endangered coral reefs which are rapidly shrinking around the world. Yet for years, we humans have neglected to take care of these precious resources in the manner they deserve. And the number one cause of this is simple, every year we dump billions of tons of waste into our seas and oceans with the most detrimental of them being non-biodegradable pollutants such as plastics.
Thankfully, there is a company that sees a potential solution to this growing problem in a way that benefits both man and the oceans. Clean-Seas is a wholly owned subsidiary of U.S.-based Byzen Digital Inc. (OTC: BYZN). Byzen is an industry leader that acquires and operates companies and technologies in the clean energy and sustainable solutions marketplace including Clean-Seas. Its Clean-Seas subsidiary is targeting plastic pollution on land and in our oceans using an innovative process called plastic pyrolysis.
Pyrolysis is a groundbreaking technique that utilizes a chemical reaction combined with heat and pressure to breakdown existing plastics, transforming them into clean burning fuels from which gasses are captured (syngas) to then be used to generate clean electricity or clean hydrogen, along with other valuable commodities.
This is a win-win for our environment: remove an existing pollutant from our oceans and municipal landfills while generating a new clean and efficient source of power. Clean-Seas also creates an entirely unique job market, especially in developing countries where it can work with governments and local contractors to employ labor for collecting the waste plastic and refining it at designated processing sites.
Let's face it, fossil fuels aren't going anywhere any time soon, especially with the Biden administration and Congress pushing for a $3 trillion New Green Deal this year that has little chance of ever passing in the Senate. Solving our climate crisis must come not only from government initiatives, but from creative solutions driven by the private sector as well. From electric and hybrid motor-vehicles to unique and game-changing methods of energy production like that of the Clean-Seas model, innovative companies will take us into an entirely new, next generation of energy efficiency. The result will be lower costs of production which can then be passed down to the consumer in an economical way, along with passing down a much cleaner, healthier planet to our children.
Creating jobs, protecting our oceans, and lowering the costs of cleaner and more sustainable sources of energy that can be used to maintain our very existence in modern times is where the next high-value generation of energy production lies. Clean-Seas is leading that charge as we move towards a cleaner and more sustainable environment. Innovation, exploration and execution of these kinds of game-changing solutions will ultimately lead to better a quality of life for all humans and animals alike -- a concept that is hard to argue against no matter what side of the aisle one is aligned with.
