Conservative author Ann Coulter sarcastically described Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly as "very brave" for "waiting until the last minute"
to allege network honcho Roger Ailes had sexually harassed her.
In an interview with Charlie Rose last Oct. 7, Kelly described the Fox News CEO as a "mentor" who has been “nothing but good to me, and he’s been very loyal and he’s had my back."
Coulter suggests Kelly withheld the sexual harassment allegation until it became apparent Ailes would have to leave the network because of claims from fired "Fox & Friends" host Gretchen Carlson and others,
The Huffington Post reports.
"I guess she waited for him to be out before she spoke up," Coulter tells the outlet, adding it was "very brave of Megyn to wait until the last moment."
According to
New York magazine's Gabriel Sherman, Kelly described Ailes harassing her when she was a legal correspondent in Fox News’ Washington bureau during the mid-2000s.
"That's it?" Coulter responded to the allegations, according to the HuffPost. "Oh boy, I have better details than that, from every woman who has ever been employed by Fox, which I have not."
