Cybersecurity experts will hold a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign during Black Hat, a Las Vegas hacker conference that began July 30.
TechCrunch reports the event will discuss "cyber policy issues" that face the next president. Ticket prices will range from $100 to $2,700.
Speakers at the conference include former Department of Homeland Security consultant Jake Braun, Clinton cybersecurity coordinator Michael Sulmeyer, and Black Hat founder Jeff Moss.
Clinton is not scheduled to attend the Black Hat event. According to her website, she will be fundraising with tech leaders in San Francisco.
The fundraiser comes just a few days after the Clinton campaign was hacked.
A campaign official told TechCrunch that Clinton supporters organized the event and that the campaign was not officially involved.
One cybersecurity professional told BuzzFeed News, "I hope whoever comes from the Clinton campaign turns off their Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on their phones."
