The Club for Growth's super PAC will begin running $1 million in anti-Donald Trump television and digital spots on Wednesday in Oklahoma and Arkansas.

"Trump wants us to think that he's 'Mr. Tell It Like It Is,'" the 30-second spot says, quoting the developer saying in 2004 that he identified more as a Democrat. "But he has a record, and it's very liberal.

"He's really just playing us for chumps," the ad says.

David McIntosh, Club for Growth president, said that the ad seeks to unmask the Republican presidential front-runner with his own words.

"There is no greater indictment of how terrible Donald Trump would be as president than his own words," he said. "The Club for Growth will continue to expose the truth about Donald Trump's long liberal record of support for higher taxes, national healthcare, and government bailouts."

Both states are holding their primaries on Super Tuesday, March 1.

Trump hit back at the group on Twitter later Tuesday:
