Donald Trump was the clear favorite of participants in a Newsmax poll following Thursday's Republican presidential debate.

Here are the results as of Thursday night:
  • Donald Trump: 80.62 percent
  • Ted Cruz: 12.63 percent
  • Marco Rubio: 3.19 percent
  • Ben Carson: 1.57 percent
  • John Kasich: 0.79 percent
  • Chris Christie: 0.65 percent
  • Jeb Bush: 0.56 percent
