Roger Ailes reportedly is furious that Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly is being credited as the reason for his apparent ouster as chairman and CEO of the cable news network he founded, and he could try to fire her tonight, New York magazine's Gabriel Sherman reports on Twitter:

Sherman also reports that negotiations for Ailes' exit among allegations of sexual harassment are ongoing.

Meanwhile, a report in the Financial Times and highlighted on the Drudge Report that top Fox talent Sean Hannity, Greta Van Susteren and Bill O'Reilly could leave with Alies was a spin move by Ailes, Sherman reported, and no walkout is actually planned.

The three anchors reportedly have clauses in their contracts that would allow them to quit if Ailes leaves the network.
