Conservative voice Glenn Beck called it "frightening" that Donald Trump displays the characteristics of a sociopath, saying the GOP candidate "doesn't really see the human experience in anyone else."
The former Fox News pundit made the comments Monday to Charlie Rose on PBS.
"Have you seen him during the last year-and-a-half truly feel for someone that couldn't help him?" Beck said.
"Truly connect on a human level and say, 'I'm deeply sorry for what I have said.' A sociopath is somebody who doesn't really see the human experience in anyone else. And I haven't seen that in him. I haven't seen him deeply affected by the human condition in an individual.
"Frightening, frightening," Beck said.
Beck also said he thought Trump's candidacy was a lark.
"I think Trump thought, 'this could be fun. I'll give it a whirl. I might last six months,'" Beck said. "I don't actually think he saw himself winning."
