Hillary Clinton has staked an 11-point lead over Donald Trump in the battleground state of Michigan, a new poll released Friday shows.
The EPIC-MRA of Lansing, Mich., survey shows the four-way presidential race breakdown looking like this:
- Clinton: 43 percent
- Trump: 32 percent
- Libertarian Gary Johnson: 8 percent
- Green Party nominee Jill Stein: 3 percent
- Undecided: 14 percent
In a two-way matchup, the split is:
- Clinton: 46 percent
- Trump: 36 percent
- Undecided: 17 percent
The poll's margin of error is plus or minus 4 percentage points.
According to the Detroit Free Press, the Democratic presidential nominee will be on the stump in Michigan next Wednesday. GOP nominee Trump, meanwhile, is set to deliver a speech on economic policy in Detroit on Monday.
The state is considered a battleground this election, though a Republican presidential candidate hasn't won Michigan since George H.W. Bush in 1988, the Free Press notes.
A RealClearPolitics polling average shows Clinton with a 6-point advantage in the state, 41 percent to 35 percent.
