The Democratic presidential candidates fielded some questions they haven't heard previously Monday at a Fox News Channel town hall hosted by anchor Bret Baier.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was asked by Baier about her email server, an issue bigger with conservatives than with typical Democratic voters.

Clinton answered with a quick, "Absolutely true," when asked if it was true that neither she nor her lawyers are the target of an investigation and said "Absolutely not," when asked if she has been told that any of her current or former staff were under investigation.

Clinton said she did not know her private server was being sought as evidence when she deleted 32,000 emails.

Both Clinton and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders were asked if they supported any instance in which abortion should be illegal. Sanders said he did not, while Clinton said she might see some restrictions late term, but there would have to be exemptions for the mother's health.

Sanders was asked by a self-employed man how his plan to tax businesses wouldn't hurt the economy, and Clinton was asked if she could find common ground with Republicans

Both said they do have "favorite" Republicans, but Sanders declined to name any for fear it would hurt their chances at working together. Clinton did as well, but did say she had worked with Maine Sen. Olympia Snow and Arizona Sen. John McCain.
