Hillary Web Ad Hits Trump Foundation

Amid controversy over Trump Foundation for illegal donations, Hillary Clinton attacked the Republican nominee for "corrupt politics" through a new web ad, according to Politico.

"You've probably heard Trump talk about the Clinton Foundation, but you might not have heard that while he attacks one of America's top charities, his foundation has been fined for an illegal donation," the narrator in the ad says.

The ad raises the $25,000 donation controversy where Trump Foundation allegedly paid Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi in 2013, "a bribe" to pursue a fraud investigation against Trump University, which is also referred to "Sham University" in the ad.

"She cashed the check, blocked the case, and he tried to cover up the donation," the ad alleges. "So, when you hear Donald Trump talk about corrupt politics, remember which candidate actually practices it."

The ad also highlights a long list of insults by Trump against Muslims, women, a disabled reporter, Sen. John McCain and others.

This comes in response to Trump's ad released Monday hitting out at Clinton's "deplorables" comment. Clinton at a fundraiser in New York referred to half of Trump's supporters as a "basket of deplorables."

The Democratic nominee later told CNN she regretted saying "half" of Trump's followers.
