Trump Takes Narrow Lead in Latest IBD Poll

Republican presidential contender Donald Trump holds a one point lead over Hillary Clinton in the latest IBD/TIPP Presidential Election Tracking Poll, 44 to 43.

In a four-way race:

  • Trump: 44 percent
  • Clinton: 43 percent
  • Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson: 5 percent.
  • Green Party nominee Jill Stein: 2 percent.

Head-to-head:

  • Trump: 44 percent
  • Clinton: 43 percent

One day earlier, Clinton and Trump were tied at was at 44 percent. Trump leads among voters over the age of 45 and with voters earning more than $50,000 a year, while Clinton leads among voters aged 18-44.
