Actress Kirstie Alley Pulls Support for Trump

Actress Kirstie Alley says she has rescinded her support for Republican Donald Trump's presidential campaign, telling Twitter followers she is no longer supporting anyone.

The tweet was sent on Saturday, the day after news broke of Trump using vulgar language to talk about women on an open microphone with then-"Access Hollywood" host Billy Bush. The "woman with the ladder" in the tweet refers to a viral video attached to her tweet in which a woman uses a ladder to rescue bear cubs from a trash bin. Alley first announced her support for Trump on April 8 in a tweet:

But the former "Cheers" and "Veronica's Closet" star still doesn't think political differences should spark bad feelings. Her Twitter feed in recent days, when not talking about non-political topics, has had something of a let's-all-get-along feel.
