A super PAC supporting Marco Rubio's presidential campaign has not reserved TV ad time past Tuesday's Florida primary, indicating it may believe Rubio's chances are over if he doesn't win his home state, CNN reports.

Conservative Solutions PAC has spent $39 million pushing the Florida senator and attacking his opponents, and has spent $9.7 million in Florida. But it has reserved no air time after Tuesday, CNN quoted media tracking firm Kantar Media/CMAG.

Super PAC spokesman Jeff Sadosky decline to talk about its spending plans, CNN reported.

"We're focused on Tuesday, and we'll have more for you afterward," Sadosky said.

The group has pre-purchased air time in previous contests, CNN noted.

Front-runner Donald Trump is so far ahead of Rubio in Florida in recent polls that Trump didn't bother campaigning in Florida on Monday night and moved instead to Ohio where he is in a tight contest with that state's governor, John Kasich.

Rubio has repeatedly said the public polls are not accurate and that he will "shock" observers on Tuesday to win Florida's 99 delegates.

Should Rubio pull of that upset, Conservative Solutions PAC would still be able to purchase TV ad time in later states.
