Hillary Clinton's already won the upcoming election according to various media outlets, but this may be wishful thinking.
"A wave of apprehension and anguish swept the Republican Party on Thursday, with many GOP leaders alarmed by Donald Trump's refusal to accept the outcome of the election and concluding that it is probably too late to salvage his flailing presidential campaign," The Washington Post wrote last Thursday.
"Even if Trump ran the table in the remaining battleground states — Florida, Iowa, Nevada, North Carolina and Ohio — he would fall short of the White House if he cannot flip another state where Clinton currently leads in the polls," Politico said Friday.
"The six states where Clinton is currently comfortably ahead show all the hallmarks of swing states that have faded from contention."
"I'm not sure I need to tell you this, but Hillary Clinton is probably going to be the next president. It's just a question of what 'probably' means," wrote FiveThirtyEight founder Nate Silver on Thursday.
During the final presidential debate, Trump said that the media "is so dishonest and corrupt" that "they poison the minds of the voters."
Trump shows no signs of slowing or ending his accusations, tweeting this morning:
Trump also accused the media of rigging the election after the debut of Alec Baldwin's unflattering portrayal of him on Saturday Night Live.
Fox News' Geraldo Rivera said Sunday that he's never seen proof of media bias, until this election.
"When I see Donald Trump I think he wakes up every day knowing that 20 of the best investigative reporters in the country working for The Washington Post are assigned to find dirt on him every day. Every day the best investigative reporters at The New York Times are assigned to find dirt on Donald Trump," Rivera said.
"He wakes up to that every day. We talk in general terms about the mainstream media and bias but I have never in my half century of doing this seen actual proof."
