Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, who herself has been the target of several attacks from GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump, had just one word Thursday after the front-runner retweeted a fan's meme attacking Heidi Cruz' appearance.
Trump and rival Ted Cruz have been fighting on Twitter since earlier this week, when an anti-Trump super PAC, Make America Awesome, put out a Facebook ad in Utah showing a nude photograph of Trump's wife, Melania, from a photo shoot 16 years ago.
Cruz has denied involvement, saying he is not affiliated with the group.
Then, on Wednesday night, Trump retweeted a post from a fan showing wives side-by-side:
Trump's attacks on Kelly have ranged from calling her a "bimbo" and last week calling her "crazy" in a
series of tweets, leading
Fox News to condemn his comments about one of its most prominent anchors.
They first tangled last August when she was one of the moderators of the first GOP debate, and Trump slammed her for being unfair to him after tough questioning about his past derogatory statements about women.
