Early exit polling data paints a picture of a deeply divided nation.
According to Politico, Donald Trump has a big advantage among white voters without a college degree, with MSNBC reporting the divide between the GOP nominee and rival Democrat Hillary Clinton 65 percent to 29 percent — but the candidates are neck-and-neck among white voters with a college degree.
Clinton is winning a majority of voters under age 30, 51 percent to 34 percent, Politico reports of the early results.
The full survey will be released later in the night, but the six members of the National Election Pool were allowed to reveal some pieces of the survey.
The Washington Post, meanwhile, reported majorities of voters in early exit polling said they have an unfavorable view of both candidates, with Trump's negatives slightly higher. According to the Post, about one in five voters have an unfavorable view of both candidates.
