President Barack Obama on Friday said the United States will stand with France after the attack in Nice that killed more than 80 people, and pledged to keep up the fight against Islamic State.

"We will not be deterred. We will not relent," Obama said. He urged Americans to continue to uphold the values of freedom of religion and pluralism, saying that any suggestion that religious tests be imposed on U.S. Muslims in response to the attack was "repugnant."
