Relatives and friends of six people who remain missing in the wake of the attack on London Bridge are reaching out on social media for help, Sky News reports.
Ignacio Echeverría, a 39-year-old Spanish national, who reportedly "confronted" one of the attackers has gone missing. The Telegraph reports his employer, HSBC, has hired private detectives to locate him.
"We keep looking for Ignacio, disappeared in the London attacks. We pray for the better," his brother, Joaquin, wrote on Facebook. "We would really appreciate any news with details about the situation of Ignacio."
Echeverría was wearing jeans, black shoes, a dark sweater and a gold chain. He also has a scar on his eyebrow.
Sara Zelenak, 21-year-old Australian, has not been seen since Saturday night on the bridge.
Her stepfather, Mark Wallace, told the Telegraph that British authorities had not provided any information in the last 48 hours.
"I feel terrible, I can't think," he said.
"Authorities in London can't give any information, they are in a terror lock down, so there's just no ability to find out or get any information. She has been gone for 48 hours and no one has seen or heard from her.
"I've contacted every hospital in London," Wallace said.
"I feel terrible, I don't know what my name is, I can't think."
French citizen Xavier Thomas also went missing. During the attack he was with his girlfriend, Christine Delcros, who was seriously injured and hospitalized. Her sister, Nathalie, went on Facebook to ask for help.
"My sister is seriously injured and hospitalized. I call on all those who have news of Xavier Thomas who is missing ... he is not part of the four French found."
Another French national, Sebastien Belanger, 22, also is missing. He was reportedly "exactly at the place where the attack happened," according to his girlfriend Gerda Bennet.
"I still have no news. Please if anyone has seen him or knows anything contact me," she wrote on Facebook.
James McMullan, 32, left the Barrowboy and Banker, a pub on London Bridge, just five minutes before the attack began. His sister, Melissa, told the Telegraph that his family has had no contact with him since, and have received no information from police.
"All the police have told us is that he's not on any identified list, not the dead or the critically injured," she said.
"His friends who were with him on Saturday have been driving around all the hospitals but all they've been told is that they don't have anyone of his name or matching his description.
"The police haven't told us anything. He phone was ringing until midnight last night, but then it went dead.
"He must have dropped it. But we just want something, any small bit of information that will let us know they are doing something."
A young man named Socaine Drz also is missing. His aunt, Hatice Bodur, posted a picture of him on Facebook and asked for any information about her nephew.
