Priebus: Press Trying to 'Delegitimize' President Trump

Chief of Staff Reince Priebus on Sunday slammed the U.S. media, accusing reporters of trying to delegitimize the presidency of Donald Trump.

"The point is not the crowd size. The point is the attacks and the attempts to delegitimize this president in one day," Priebus said on "Fox News Sunday." "And we're not going to sit around and take it."

Priebus's comments after White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer attacked the media for misrepresenting the size of Trump's inauguration day crowd.

Priebus the media has an obsession with trying to legitimize Trump.

"We're not going to sit around and let is happen," Priebus said.

"We are going to fight back tooth and nail every day."
