Public Policy Polling indicated in a tweet Wednesday that it has begun a new national poll showing front-runner Donald Trump's support "significantly diminished."
No other details were given other than the poll will be officially released on Thursday.
Trump has led in almost every national poll for months, but finished in second place to Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in Iowa on Monday, and had Florida Sen. Marco Rubio nipping at his heels.
PPP is a Democratic-leaning polling firm, though RealClearPolitics recognizes it as one of the national polls it uses for the quality of its methodology.
Nevertheless, Trump fans on Twitter accused PPP of bias and suggested the early release of its information was an attempt to skew the results.
