Hillary Clinton is set to win Nevada, North Carolina, and most importantly Florida, according to her campaign manager Robby Mook.
"If Hillary wins Florida, she'll be next president of the United States," Bill Clinton said Tuesday, while campaigning in the state, NBC News reports.
Mook, in a conference call with donors on Thursday, said he expected victory in Florida and North Carolina largely due to high Hispanic turnout, while he no longer saw a way for GOP nominee Donald Trump to win Nevada at this point, according to The New York Times.
"We're seeing record early voting numbers in North Carolina, Florida. Look, I would wager in Nevada turnout is so strong among Democrats there Hillary could build an insurmountable lead in the coming days in Nevada," Mook said on "Meet the Press" last week.
"Hillary Clinton could put Nevada out of reach for Trump this week, but whether or not that happens is up to the voters," he continued.
"The early voting numbers that Hillary Clinton is running up in Florida, North Carolina, and Nevada are no accident. Clinton and the Democratic Party have invested heavily in an extensive get out the vote operation in early voting states."
Trump also lost the help of embattled Republican Sens. Rob Portman of Ohio and Patrick J. Toomey of Pennsylvania, who have diverted their attention and funding to defending their own seats, rather than campaign for the party nominee for president.
The billionaire will face a challenge in Virginia, where Clinton has polled ahead of Trump since June, according to RealClearPolitics.
"Virginia is absolutely vital mathematically to Hillary winning this election, and we're going to put everything we can in there to make sure that she wins," Mook told WUSA9 Monday.
