After unsettled finishes in the first-in-the-nation New Hampshire primary Tuesday, Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas and Marco Rubio of Florida are heading back to Washington to vote on new legislation cracking down on North Korea,
The Hill reports.
The break, announced separately by each of the GOP presidential candidates' campaigns, The Hill reports, will allow the lawmakers to vote on a bill requiring the Obama administration to sanction anyone involved with North Korea in a number of areas, including its nuclear weapons program.
Both Rubio and Cruz are scheduled to be back on the stump in South Carolina on Thursday, The Hill reports.
With Donald Trump
winning the GOP race in the primary, and Ohio Gov. John Kasich taking the second spot, Cruz and Rubio were left in the logjam of candidates battling for third place.
