Donald Trump Saturday opened one of the few remaining speeches he has left before Tuesday's election by slamming rapper Jay Z's for using foul language at a concert for Hillary Clinton Friday night.
"I actually love Jay Z, but the language last night, ooh, I was thinking, maybe I should try that," Trump told a cheering audience in Tampa, Florida. "Can you imagine if I said that? He used every word in the book. I won't even use the initials because they'll get me in trouble."
Friday's concert featured both Jay Z and his wife Beyonce, Big Sean, and Chance the Rapper. Pop star Katy Perry will hold a concert rally for Clinton in Philadelphia Saturday night.
Jay Z, whose music is often peppered with colorful language, dropped both the "N" and the "F" words during his performance Friday night, reports Business Insider.
Trump himself came under criticism for using lewd language in a leaked audiotape while talking about women, but he said Saturday that "I've never said what he said in my life."
"He used language last night that was so bad, and then Hillary said, 'I did not like Donald Trump's lewd language,'" Trump said.
Trump also boasted Saturday that he doesn't need stars like Jay-Z to fill up his arena events, because "we do it the old-fashioned way."
"She cannot campaign for herself," Trump said of Clinton later in his speech. "Nobody shows up to her meetings. The only way she gets them to show up is when she has a star come. That is the only way. Otherwise, she gets 500 people, 400 people, and by the way, the cameras never show that. Can you imagine if I had a small crowd? There would be headlines all over the world."
During the concert, Jay Z argued that Trump was not fit to be president, while he said he does not have any ill will toward him.
"His conversation is divisive," he said. "He cannot be my president. He cannot be our president."
Beyonce told the crowd that she wants her daughter to see a woman growing up seeing a woman leading the country, and during her performance of "Formation," her backup singers wore Clinton-style blue pantsuits.
