Liberal journalists are working to "fulfill an agenda" rather than a "mission to deliver facts," The American Mirror reported Tuesday, as evidenced by a tweet from The Washington Post's fact-checker Glenn Kessler.

The Washington Post on Monday charged President Donald Trump revealed sensitive information when he met with Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak last week, citing unnamed officials.

The article maintained the president's action "endangers cooperation from an ally that has access to the inner workings of the Islamic State."

Trump responded to the accusations, tweeting he had the "absolute right" to share the information with Russian officials. The opinion was echoed by national security adviser H.R. McMaster who said, "At no time were any intelligence sources or methods discussed, and no military operations were disclosed that were not already known publicly."

From tweets supplied by political commentator Matt Drudge on Tuesday, The American Mirror described another time The Washington Post newsroom broke into applause prior to former President Barack Obama taking office, citing a story that ran in 2009 by Politico.

"After three-and-a-half hours at his transition office, PEOTUS obama took another 6 minute ride through Washington, arriving at 157 pm at the nondescript soviet-style building at 15th and L street that houses The Washington Post," Politico reported.

"Around 100 people — Post reporters perhaps? — awaited PEOTUS's arrival, cheering and bobbing their coffee cups."
