Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton leads rival Bernie Sanders 48% to 45% in Iowa; Sanders, a Vt. senator, leads Clinton 50% to 46% in N.H. in Wall Street Journal/NBC News/Marist poll, WSJ reports.
  • Republican candidate Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas leads rival Donald Trump 28% to 24% in Iowa.
  • Trump leads Sen. Marco Rubio of Fla. 30% to 14% in N.H.; Cruz in 4th place, behind Gov. Chris Christie of N.J.
 Poll done by phone Jan. 2-7 among likely voters in Iowa, N.H. Margin of error varies by state, party and between +/-4.1 and 4.8 ppt
