Suzanne Somers made her dancing debut on "Dancing With the Stars" Monday night, proving that age is just a number. The 68-year-old blonde, who achieved fame as the air-headed Crissy Snow on "Three's Company" almost 40 years ago, told "People" that her "youthful energy" is what keeps her active.

"I was in a Zen space," Somers blogged on "People's" website. "I was calm, relaxed and ready. When I went out there, I went out to have fun, and I did."
Somers says she didn't pay much attention to her score — three 6's and a 7 compared to Rumer Willis' solid 8 performance — but the judges made positive comments. After dancing cha cha to Olivia Newton-John's "Physical" with dancing partner pro Tony Dovolani, judge Len Goodman enthused, "You are in lovely condition."
"I was happy with their comments and walked away from the whole thing feeling great," Somers blogged.
Somers wants older women to be inspired by her performances. "It's not about your age, it's about your energy. I have youthful energy and superb health because of the way I have been taking care of myself," she blogged.
A few wrinkles? No problem, says Somers. "My friend Tom Ford gave me a line one day that was so liberating. He said, 'You know, Suzanne, you would look strange without wrinkles,'" she told "E." "I thought, here is one of the fashion icons, with the greatest artistic eye, and he liked me the way I looked. So I've decided just like, be healthy and happy and in love and keep challenging myself.
"LIVE, BREATH, LOVE, DANCE!!!" Somers posted on Twitter.
