Republican Sharron Angle has lengthened her lead to four percentage points over Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in the battle for the Senate seat in Nevada, according to a new poll by
Mason-Dixon Polling & Research. Angle was chosen by 49 percent of the likely voters polled, while Reid got 45 percent.
The poll — conducted for the Las Vegas Review-Journal and 8NewsNow — is the first Mason-Dixon survey since the two candidates squared off in their only debate on Oct. 14.
A Mason-Dixon poll two weeks ago showed Angle with a two-point lead, 47 percent to 45 percent.
