Obama Immigration Policies Left Legacy of Violent Street Gangs

Former President Obama sucker-punched the American people with his several immigration Executive Orders and his open-door immigration policies. He deftly deluded the American people with his hipster charm as he sought to achieve his ulterior motive — a George Soros-backed globalization of America. The Soros-Obama propaganda posits that the United States is not an exceptional nation and the nation needs to be reduced to a third-world status with Soros-Obama-minded oligarchs in national control.

Obama fostered within the Border Patrol and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) law enforcement personnel an unhealthy disregard for immigration laws by dictating leniency to illegal entrants. Then DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson signed a Memorandum entitled: Policies for Apprehension, Detention and Removal of Undocumented Immigrants that was meant to emasculate the immigration laws by creating new classes of “legal” immigrants admitted without proper background inspections.

The Obama administration’s weak border enforcement has allowed deported foreign criminals to re-enter America often many times. An estimated 70 percent of the deported criminals return to commit more crimes.

However, the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) National Gang Center (NGC) reported for years the crimes committed by illegal aliens but they was ignored for not conforming to the Obama immigration policies.

NGC reported an October 2014 killing of two California deputy sheriffs by a twice-deported illegal Mexican alien. The report did not state this was an example of the Obama administration lax immigration policies.

The NGC reported the 2015 killing of Kate Steinle in San Francisco, a proclaimed sanctuary city, by a repeatedly deported criminal illegal alien. This is another example of Obama’s lax immigration.

NGC reported on February 14, 2017, that San Fernando Valley, California, was experiencing a substantial rise in gang-related homicides during the last two years.

Meanwhile, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) secured an indictment of ten Northern California illegal alien gang members of a subset of MS-13 (Mara Salvatrucha-13), for drug trafficking, assault, and extortion on February 14, 2017. The criminal acts were during the Obama years.

MS-13 is one of many illegal alien crime gangs thriving in the United States and it is especially strong in Los Angeles and Metro Washington, D.C.

Metro Washington, which includes the District of Columbia together with Frederick, Montgomery, and Prince Georges counties, Maryland, and Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William counties, Virginia, suffers daily gang crime.

The NGC reported on February 15, 2017, that members of the notorious national and transnational crime gang MS-13 kidnapped and killed a 15-year-old girl in Virginia.

Fairfax County Police Chief Edwin Roessler stated the killing of Ms. Damaris Rivas, the 15-year-old girl, was a “savage, brutal killing. It was horrific.” Ten members of MS-13 are under arrest in Fairfax County for the killing the young girl.

One girl charged in the killing, Venus Iraheta, is eligible for “Dreamer” immigration status. “Dreamer” is a member of an Obama created special immigration class for foreign-born young people who claim they were brought into the U.S. as children not of their own accord. Therefore they should be granted legalization.

“Anchor babies” are children born in the United States of illegal alien mothers. The “anchor babies” are used to help the mothers avoid deportation and thus termed “anchor babies.” It isn’t clear how many of the MS-13 gang-bangers are “Dreamers” and “anchor babies,” but it is a significant number.

WUAS9 news of Washington reported on February 17, 2017, “Gang Recruiting Seen as Early as Elementary School.” Crime gang recruiting of Latino children, both “Dreamers" and “anchor babies,” starts in fifth grade in local elementary schools, said Northern Virginia Regional Gang Task Force Director Jay Lanham. His team is aiding the investigation into the gang-related murder of the Rivas girl.

In Loudoun county, Virginia, three teenagers with MS-13 ties were charged with the killing of a 17-year-old. The three entered the U.S. illegally in 2003 were apprehended but they were released by an immigration court. They ignored a court date, just as most illegal aliens do. The Obama administration considered these illegal aliens are “Executive discretionary-admitted” immigrants and are permitted residency even if they failed to appear in court.

Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe, a Clinton Democrat, is pushing to make Virginia a “sanctuary state” which would provide illegal alien gang members protection from deportation. The MS-13 gang is the most powerful crime gang in the United States and is well established in Virginia.

The Metro Washington elected officials and many residents excuse criminal gangs, suggesting that U.S. immigration laws are too restrictive and America must be more global and inclusive. These excusers surrender national sovereignty to radical progressive ideology.

Off the record, the Metro law enforcement officials blame permissive Obama immigration policies for gang crime and its ever-increasing rise.
