Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., urged Americans to resist potential forthcoming lockdown measures, saying, ''They can’t arrest all of us. They can’t keep all of your kids home from school.
"They can’t keep every government building closed — although I’ve got a long list of ones they might keep closed or might ought to keep closed,'' Paul said. ''We don’t have to accept the mandates, lockdowns, and harmful policies of the petty tyrants and feckless bureaucrats.
"We can simply say no, not again.''
What we have experienced in 2020-2021 during COVID Interruptus nationally and here in my home state, California COVID Communism, is the biggest and most direct governmental interference since the New Deal.

Los Angeles County reported yesterday that there have been almost 4,300 new COVID cases, the highest in six months. Yet last week there were only 13 recorded COVID deaths out of 18.71 million in the Greater Los Angeles Metro Area.
What their comorbidities were, of course, we’ll never know. For the context, per the CDC, in California 169 people die a day of heart disease, 163 from cancer, 43 from stroke, 43 from Alzheimer’s, 14 from opioids and the list goes on.
Don’t get me into our real booming statistical problem in California, the increase of crime by 38% to 48% under the incompetence of Mayor Eric Garcetti and Gov. Gavin Newsom.
I’m not anti-vax. I’m a man of modernity who is clearly pro-sanitation, pro-clean water and pro-advancements that have been proven to stop sickness. I am anti-hysteria and anti-elite few overriding individual freedoms.
Even though you took the shot that doesn't work as promised, more government mandates and lockdowns are scaling back up. Crisis is in charge. Meanwhile, Delta, Lambda and the entire animal house-style Faucian fraternal orders of a COVID toga party are coming to a vaccine card verified venue near you.
Forget travel if you don't join the fear cult. Let’s round up all the rational and the un-vaxxed. Get these (probable) Trumpers into one area and try to build a wall.

There is no elite special knowledge. If there was, the elites should run your lives like a parent knowing what's best for you.
That’s the way many scared people live around the world. They are under theocracy, autocracy, plutocracy, socialism and communism. Would you interact with someone if they kept changing the facts, blaming, gaslighting, lying and putting you at risk?
No, you’d end the relationship. Everything boils down to the personal level as that's where individual freedom exists.
What about kids? For a parent everything comes down to the moral obligation to your kids (unless you're a loser, but that’s a different show).
COVID is much less likely to cause serious illness in children than it is in adults. Yet according to the left and Big Pharma, Americans should vax our kids.

As science reporter Alex Berenson stated, ''The pivotal clinical trial for the Pfizer vaccine shows it does nothing to reduce the overall risk of death. ZERO. 15 patients who received the vaccine died. 14 who received the placebo died. The end. The trial blind is broken now. This is all the data we will ever need.''
As much as the left wants to alter the nature of reality, a truism remains: You can’t de-risk America without destroying it.
America is a meritocracy. It's a special formula of divinity, justice, free-market capitalism, Neoplatonic thought, enlightenment movement deism, and philosophic Judeo-Christianity.
It’s our special sauce that was perfectly created that makes America unique. This must be aggressively protected. When you try to de-risk America, you ruin it.
You can’t make everything free or equal or guaranteed, as much we wish we could. We can’t take away the pains and trials of success and excellence for others after we have endured it ourselves.
We can only offer equal opportunity.
We can’t take away the risk of COVID, but we can support each other in marching forward with our eyes open. We can keep individual freedom in one hand and conservative caution and awareness in the other as rational citizens.
You can’t de-risk America.
In America it’s all about mitigating risk without impinging on our divinely bestowed constitutional rights.
Take healthy conservative risks. Know that failure is optional and a net positive that makes you the rough and tumble free American you are.
Knowing we may get sick or fail or get our feelings hurt, we willingly take that next life-empowering risk with our eyes open. Then as Americans, we go forth and claim the success and prosperity that our God-given constitutional rights allow.
Sen. Paul’s path of peaceful — yet open collective — resistance may soon be necessary. Only time will tell.
