The Electoral College won’t meet until Dec. 14, but the international community — particularly those who are not our friends — are already lined up like beggars with their hands extended.
"Alms for the poor?"
Consider it a premonition, that if the Trump campaign’s legal arguments are unsuccessful, it will soon be "business as usual," meaning the international community quickly begins to take advantage of Uncle Sam’s generosity.
It would also mean an end to Presdient Trump's "America First" policy, one that provided the roadmap to making America great again.
Heading the beggar list is Iran, the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism — right along with the United States, thanks to the pallets of cash former President Obama contributed to the cause.
That nonsense came to a screeching halt on Inauguration Day — Jan. 20, 2017.
Since then Trump has effectively isolated Iran from the rest of the Arab world by brokering the Abraham Accords — peace treaties between Israel and three Arab countries.
Trump also withdrew the United States from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (Iran Nuclear Deal), collapsed its economy, and authorized the killing of Gen. Qasem Soleimani, Iran’s head of terror who was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Americans.
Iran now wants to return to the good old days and its leaders believe Biden is the perfect person to do it.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani called on the presumptive president-elect to "compensate for past mistakes" made by the United States against his regime.
He also wants the United States to once again honor the terms of the nuclear deal — an agreement that did little to halt the regime’s ambitions to develop nuclear weapons.
The Palestinian Authority also has its hands out. The PA made a whole list (and they checked it twice), because to them Trump wasn’t being very nice.
Reduced down to its essentials, they want Biden to reverse all the "anti-Palestinian" decisions the Trump administration made that hurt their feelings.
Incidentally, both Iran and the Palestinian Authority reached out to Biden at the same day — on Sunday.
The Jerusalem Post reported that their list includes:
- Reopening the Palestine Liberation Organization’s diplomatic mission in Washington
- Rescinding Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital
- Resuming financial aid to the PA and the UN Relief and Work Agency
- Reopening the U.S. consulate in east Jerusalem.
Finally, the People’s Republic of China must have listened when Biden downplayed the Chinese threat to U.S. interests — including the economy — during a May 2019 campaign event in Iowa City, Iowa.
"China is gonna eat our lunch? C’mon, man," he told his supporters. "They’re not bad folks, folks. But guess what? They’re not competition for us."
Former Obama administration Defense Secretary Robert Gates confirmed that his old friend Joe Biden has "been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades." And that hasn’t changed.
Nevertheless, The Economist was all in on resuming relations the old way with the Chinese Communist Party.
"Unlike Donald Trump, Joe Biden will seek China's help with global problems such as climate change or covid-19 treatments," it tweeted Sunday.
To be clear, China is not only the planet’s greatest polluter, but it’s also the creator of the COVID-19 pandemic. And they’re going to help us?
Without surprise, China expert Gordon Chang remarked last week that the Chinese Communist Party without question breathed a sigh of relief when one network after another called the presidential race for the guy who was "wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades" — because they helped make it happen.
"I think China is very happy with how things turned out, because Beijing worked very hard to get the vice president elected" Chang told "The Cat’s Roundtable" radio program on WABC.
He said that China did so by malicious and massive attacks on President Donald Trump through a public disinformation campaign.
Biden tweeted Tuesday that "America is back," making one wonder if he’s already planning his own "apology tour" just like his old boss.
So much for "America First" — and America’s enemies know it.
