Will Biden Let China Bury Us?

MEMRI, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit news media monitoring and analysis organization, recently released the video of a Chinese sociologist that should be sobering to all Americans.

Addressing a Shenzhen forum on October 16, Dr. Li Yi claimed that China will bring the United States to its knees, and the COVID-19 pandemic will help it on its way.

"The U.S. will not survive," he said. "Almost none of the 1.4 billion Chinese people realize this. It's not the U.S. that is screwing with China – we are the ones driving America to its death . . . "

Li added, “COVID-19 is bad for Europe and America, but is beneficial for North Korea and China.”

On December 31 of last year, Chinese authorities reported that they were treating dozens of cases of pneumonia of an unknown cause. It wasn’t until a week into the new year that China announced that they’d identified it as a new virus.

The first confirmed U.S. coronavirus case was long-believed to be on January 21 in Washington state.

However, The Wall Street Journal reported Monday that new studies indicate it was likely infecting Americans in mid-December — three weeks before China claimed it was dealing with a potentially new virus.

The statement by Li that "COVID-19 is bad for Europe and America, but is beneficial for North Korea and China" appears to confirm an assessment made by a Chinese virologist who fled to the United States earlier this year.

Dr. Li-Meng Yan said she believed the Chinese government intentionally manufactured and released COVID-19 into the world.

"Yes, of course, it's intentionally," she told Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

"I work[ed] in the WHO reference lab, which is the top coronavirus lab in the world, in the University of Hong Kong. And the thing is I get deeply into such investigation in secret from the early beginning of this outbreak. I had my intelligence because I also get my own unit network in China, involved [in] the hospital . . .  also I work with the top corona[virus] virologist in the world," Dr. Li-Meng said.

"So, together with my experience, I can tell you, this is created in the lab ... and also, it is spread to the world to make such damage.”

Last year while campaigning in Iowa City, Iowa, Joe Biden dismissed the notion that China was a threat to the United States.

"China is going to eat our lunch? Come on, man," he said. "They're not bad folks, folks, but guess what. They're not competition for us."

Commenting on this statement, RealClearPolitics concluded that "For Joe Biden, on China It's Still the 1990s."

Actually, it’s still 2013 for Biden — December 2013 to be exact. That was when he met with his son Hunter’s Chinese partners, just days before they founded a new investment firm.

That fact was confirmed last year — not by a conservative news outlet, but by The New Yorker — in a piece headlined, "Will Hunter Biden Jeopardize His Father’s Campaign?"

Apparently not. The mainstream media was too intent on getting Donald Trump out of the White House to be concerned about messy issues involving international corruption.

Hunter and his Chinese partners called their new firm Bohai Harvest RST (BHR), and its partners initially raised in excess of $1 billion for the fund.

But it wasn’t just Hunter who profited from this venture — Joe did also, according to Tony Bobulinski, Hunter’s former business partner.

He testified that Joe Biden received a 10% cut from at least one China deal as “the big guy,” which was how he was referred to in an email, according to numerous news sources.

Sixty years ago, almost to the day, then-Soviet First Secretary Nikita Khrushchev interrupted a meeting at the U.N. General Assembly to deliver a warning.

After pounding his desk with a shoe, he told the Western world in general, and the United States in particular, that "We will bury you!"

So from "We will bury you" in October of 1960, to "we are the ones driving America to its death" in October 2020, the message is essentially the same.

The leadership, however, isn’t.

Sixty years ago we had Dwight D. Eisenhower, succeeded the following year by John F. Kennedy — both staunch anti-Communists.

Today, assuming Biden survives the recounts and court battles, we’ll have Joe "They're not bad folks" Biden.

And what of the free and independent press, the primary watchdog against an overreaching government? Biden entertained only a single question at his economic briefing Tuesday: "How’s your foot?"

Reporters were fine with it.

What difference does a few hundred thousand deaths and the destruction of the greatest economy in world history make, when the Bidens have fortunes to derive from the Chinese Communist Party?

This is not America’s finest hour.
