Alec Baldwin in Real Estate Video to Sell Hamptons Home

By    |   Wednesday, 17 January 2024 11:10 AM EST

Actor Alec Baldwin has put his Hamptons estate back on the market but with a $10 million price cut and a real estate video of himself showcasing the lavish property.

The mansion was initially listed in September 2022 for $29 million but was taken off the market only to now be relisted for $19 million, the New York Post reported.

The accompanying video features Baldwin, 65, strolling on the nearby beach and the expansive 10-acre ground.

"I've had a home out here on the east end of Long Island since 1981," he says. "When I was younger we'd come out here and we'd sleep all morning and lay on the beach all day. When you're young, this place is the best."

Having purchased the property for just $1.7 million in 1995, Baldwin has significantly expanded the estate, with two additions in the last 30 years, bringing the main home's total area to an impressive 10,000 square feet.

Additionally, the property has received approval for a separate 10,000-square-foot home and potential expansions for the existing four-bedroom, seven-bathroom residence.

"I fell in love with this place the moment I came here," Baldwin says in the video. "You just can't get this out here anymore."

He adds, "I love coming here. I'm always happiest when I come here."

In a statement shared Tuesday with USA Today, real estate agent Scott Bradley called it "an absolutely stunning hilltop estate surrounded by acres of reserve with wide open skies and soft ocean breezes."

Baldwin became entangled in controversy in 2021 following the accidental shooting on the set of the film "Rust," where cinematographer Halyna Hutchins lost her life and director Joel Souza was injured.

Baldwin, the lead actor and co-producer of the film, pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter.

While prosecutors dropped charges last year, the case remains under an "active" investigation. New Mexico prosecutors are attempting to revive criminal charges, awaiting a grand jury decision on whether there is "probable cause" to pursue charges against the actor once more.
