George W. Bush Daughter Barbara to Deliver Speech at Planned Parenthood Fundraiser

One of former President George W. Bush's daughters will give the keynote speech at a fundraiser for abortion provider Planned Parenthood next week.

According to the Washington Examiner, Barbara Bush is the co-founder and CEO of Global Health Corps, which in the past has praised Planned Parenthood. In Fort Worth, Texas next Wednesday, Bush will address a crowd at Planned Parenthood's annual fundraising luncheon.

The purpose of her speech, the Examiner reports, is to garner financial support for the organization.

Former President Bush was opposed to abortion during his time in office. Four days before he left the White House in 2009, CNS News reported that pro-life groups saw Bush as having the most pro-life record of any president in U.S. history.

President Donald Trump has vowed to withdraw federal funding to Planned Parenthood because it performs abortions.
