Former President Bill Clinton warns about the dangers of cyber threats to U.S. elections while at the same says he doesn't know whether foreign actors successfully tampered with the 2016 results.
The 42nd president of the U.S made the comments in a CBS interview to run in its entirety Sunday morning.
"We got a real serious problem with this cyber-terrorism," Clinton told CBS "Sunday Morning," program. "They could go way beyond fixing the elections. And those problems will happen faster if we allow our elections to continue to be tampered with by others."
However, when asked if he thought the 2016 results were tampered with, Clinton simply said, "I don't know. I don't know."
Clinton is promoting a new book he co-wrote with best-selling author James Patterson titled "The President is Missing."
