Democrats will pay for the "Kavanaugh debacle" at the voting booths next month, Bill O'Reilly told Newsmax TV.
O'Reilly argued in his "Talking Points Memo" on Wednesday the Republican Party will come out on top in the midterm elections because of how Democrats have behaved.
"I can tell you that independent-minded Americans don't want to hear this hate Trump stuff anymore; they don't want to see a man like Brett Kavanaugh get destroyed and his wife and family along with him," said O'Reilly, alluding to Kavanaugh's Supreme Court confirmation process that was marred by uncorroborated allegations of sexual misconduct that dated back to the early 1980s.

O'Reilly then gave an example of what he called "hate," in which a writer for "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" posted a tweet that boasted, "I'm just glad we ruined Brett Kavanaugh's life."
That, O'Reilly argued, is just one of many reasons why Americans are turned off by the left. And he said it is why Independents will likely swing right when they cast their votes Nov. 6.
"That kind of hatred, that is what's causing the backlash against the Democratic Party," he said. "Not one Democrat, not one, elected to office in this country with any visibility stood up for due process or the presumption of innocence during the Kavanaugh debacle. Not one.
"Independent-minded Americans saw that. Independents are gonna sway the election. . . . They are swinging against the Democratic Party, all the signs show that."
